It’s time for a Movie Night! We’ll be screening two classics: 10 Things I Hate About You + Bend it Like Beckham!
We’ll also be showing short films made by local young people as part of Valley Youth’s 2nd Annual Short Film Fest!
They’re be plenty of FREE yummy food including popcorn, pizza, themed mocktails, hot chocolate and Indian snacks Bend it Like Beckham style!

You can get to the venue by hopping on the 59 tram, and there are bus routes nearby. The venue has accessible and gender neutral bathrooms and no stairs. In addition, both films will screen with subtitles.
This event was planned entirely by young people in Moonee Valley’s Avenue Productions group and funded through the FReeZA program, a Victorian Government initiative. This event is fully supervised, drug, alcohol, smoking free with no pass-outs.
Please be aware the following COVID safe measures are in place:
- We will have spare face masks available as well as hand sanitizer.
- Social distancing measures will be encouraged.
- Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or are a deemed as a close contact.
