Valley Youth wants to support our community through this challenging time by offering fully subsidised, fully accredited, evidence-based training for our community.
The Youth Mental Health First Aid Course is for parents of adolescents (those aged between 12 and 18 years), however, the course can be relevant for those helping people who are a little younger or older.
This course is for parents and includes two components:
• A 4 hrs self-paced eLearning component (must be completed prior to the first instructor led session); and
• An Instructor-led component using video conferencing (3 sessions of 2.5 hours each).

We want to hear your personal story of climate change from your experience and observations 🌏 By sharing climate stories, we can all better understand how climate change is impacting us and our community and how we can adapt.
Entries can be submitted under three age categories with prizes for each category winner.
🌱 Primary up to 12 years of age. Winner receives a $100 Zoos Victoria voucher.
🌱 Secondary Youth ages 13 – 18. Winner receives a $100 Biome eco store voucher.
🌱 Adults ages 19 +. The winner receives a $100 Source bulk food store voucher.

Vaccines help a person’s body to recognise and fight against a virus that can cause serious illness.
When you get a vaccine, your body develops protection against the virus by helping the body create antibodies – special proteins that fight the virus. This protection specifically shields the body from the COVID-19 virus and is called an immune response.
COVID-19 vaccines do not contain COVID-19. You cannot get COVID-19 from having the vaccines. The COVID-19 vaccines will not change your genes or your DNA in any way.
