Grassroots Youth Summit: 17 – 19 April

Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to be a part of the solution but don’t know how? The Grassroots Youth Summit is just for you!

Explore behind the scenes of a local greenspace to discover its wonders and how it is managed by your Council and dedicated community members.

Join traditional owners, local artists, conservationists, leaders and volunteers to be a part of the next generation of environmental caretakers. Activities will include a planting with members of Wurundjeri, an immersive art workshop, a science discovery tour, a leadership course run by CERES, presentations from environmental professionals and a music performance hosted by Avenue Productions.

At the end of the summit, you will be presented with a certificate of completion by the Mayor to show off the skills and knowledge you have learnt!
