Planting Day – Thursday 30 June, 2022

We need your help planting our garden in Niddrie with beautiful natives!

Join our Grassroots Group for a morning of planting!

Millie, our Conservation Programs officer, will teach us about seedlings and then we’ll get our hands dirty and have a go at planting them in the garden at the Valley Youth Space in Niddrie!

📆 Date: Thursday, 30 June, 2022

🕑 Time: 10:30am – 12:30 pm

📍Location: Valley Youth Space, Niddrie (3 Matthew’s Avenue, Niddrie).

😀 This workshop is for young people aged 12 – 25 who live, study, work or hang out in Moonee Valley.

This workshop is FREE. All seedlings and materials will be provided.

Please wear closed footwear and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.

 

You can get to the Valley Youth Space by hopping on the 59 tram, and there are bus routes nearby. The venue has accessible bathrooms and no stairs. Please be aware the following COVID safe measures are in place:

• We will have spare face masks available as well as hand sanitizer.

• Social distancing measures will be encouraged.

• Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or are a deemed as a close contact.
